Frag eXecutors, thanks to a surprisingly high standing in the eliminations in the fourth season of the Intel Extreme Masters tournament by Electronic Sports League, received one more chance to fight for a trip to Germany.

Our team, a mixture of different players put together for the duration of the tournament from various top Polish teams, placed second place in Group C behind fnatic. Unfortunately in the barrage matches, our team was eliminated from the competition after losing to Millenium.

However, two Scandinavian teams withdrew from the tournament ( Spirit of Amiga and Power Gaming), opening up a spot in the European Championship Finals. The administrators of ESL decided to organize an additional qualification tournament to fill in the empty spot. This tournament gave a chance for the two Polish teams of AGAiN and Fx to qualify for the European Championship Finals.

Last night, AGAiN met the fans expectations and easily defeated confis. How dOka and co. will manage, we will find out in less than two hours. One thing is certain, the Swedes with zet leading the way will put up a much bigger fight than the Norwegians. Below is the match table.

The IEM European Finals will take place in the city of Brühl, not far from Cologne. The tournament will start this upcoming Thursday and end on Sunday. The prize pool is set at $50,000.

Update - After 80 minutes the result is not as we would have hoped for. Fx loses in two maps.
