The 30th edition of the most popular tournament in the ex-Soviet Union changes the location of their finals tournament. This time around, gamers will make their way from Moscow to Kiev, instead of having the finals in Moscow.

The prize pool will be set at about one million Russian rubles,which is about 100,000 PLN. In addition to this cash prize pool, hardware prizes will also be handed out on site. As if this wasn't enough, theASUS Open Summer Cup 2010 will take place from August 28 - August 29 in the Cybersport Game Area in the Ukranian capital of Kiev. The teams for the final event will be determined by LAN and online qualifiers in Moscow (August 21). The main game for the tournament is Counter-Strike 1.6 with the biggest prize pool. Other games which will be included (40% of the prize pool) are: Counter-Strike: Source, DotA and Quake Live.
