Recently there were some important changes in rosters of best teams. That's why I started to consider who will be dominate this year - old teams or maybe someone new? Here you can see some of my predictions for favorites:

SK-Gaming? - winner of EM 4 Global Challenge Chengdu 2009. Lastly team was joined by experienced GuX who exchanged kHRYSTAL, the guy that played for almost every important Swedish team, I believe. To be honest I don?t believe in this team's hegemony.

SK 2010 is:

Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström
Dennis "walle" Wallenberg
Rasmus "GuX" Stahl



Mousesports? - team, that made most of fnatic problems, while Swedes were dominating 2009. German based team unexpectedly won EM 4 European Championship Finals, together with roman in their roster. He exchanged cash. Together with the rest they made experienced team, as most of players rule German scene since Counter Strike 1.5. I think that they can surprise on biggest events.

Mousesports 2010 is:

Navid "Kapio" Javadi
Fatih "gob b" Dayik
Manuel "Tixo" Makohl
Antonio "cyx" Daniloski



Fnatic? - I'm preety sure they are your main favorites, and so they are mine. The last change, when threat stepped in insted of GuX, was in my opinion a good move. Swedes dominated in 2009 and it looks like the good run is going to be prolonged.

Frag-eXecutors? - New homies of our team, golden four and pasha. When he exchanged LUq there was made a large confusion all over the world scene. From everywhere you can hear voices, that he won't be able to fill his shoes properly. All we can do is to believe in his abilities, and that he will be able to show them. FX, after so many years on the top, are still unforeseeable, what was confirmed by Guns Are Drawn project. Let's hope that they will show their A game - personally I believe in them and give pretty much chances for the hegemony.

Roskilde Ravens? - as for now team, that rules Danish scene, I believe. Unexpected third place at EM 4 European Championship Finals of a doomed team made a huge perturbations and interest in them. Great potential, interesting tactics and unconventional actions - these are their main advantages. What is more, no one of them is better when talking about playing or being a media star. The main problem may be, that now everyone will consider them as favorites and there will be no underestimation. We will see how it will be, as for now there aren't much chances for them to rule the world.

RR 2010 is:

Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Baljit "zE-" Lal

There is why I rejected to think about those teams as favorites:

mTw - although sunde, main sniper and the guy that was able to win most important rounds is back, team was left by mJe - player that had all the strats in his head. The true leader. Team was joined by some new, young and perspective players, that - to be honest - haven't won anything serious yet, minet and trAce. They are gaining their experience, still having not enough to rule.


Alternate - since few years they can't get through the top. What is more roman, one of most experienced players in the world, who still remember times of HeatoN and zet, decided to join with local opponents. Rather no chances for a breakthrough.


Meet Your Makers - well known brand, but there are no well known players, besides the legendary man, zet, but he hasn't accommodated to current game conditions yet. If they find the missing link (text written before FYRR73 joined) there is an option that they won't have enough time to get used to playing with each other, which is necessary to win biggest events. In my opinion - no chances.
